This seminar series is presented by our Human Rights, Family & Gender Think Tank Programme. This Seminar's theme will focus on Human Rights in South America.

For this session, we have invited two young academics who have researched on different human rights in South America. Catalina Ortega Zambrano is going to present the “Women’s Peaceful Route”, a social movement that over the past 25 years developed into the main women’s civil society organisation advocating for peace in Colombia, while Emma Ebmer is going to address environmental law and indigenous peoples’ rights in the context of the Ecuadorian constitution.

This event will be live streamed on our YouTube channel and hosted on Zoom, For entry into the Zoom call, please register your attendance as soon as possible as spaces are limited.

Please note that all links will be sent a day prior to the event via email. You will receive a confirmation email after successfully registering.
