Jasmin Beck

Jasmin is currently pursuing a PhD while working on the ERC Consolidator Grant Project “Correcting Inequality through Law.” The project analyses the equality jurisprudence of over a dozen jurisdictions for comparison, in order to explain the doctrinal choices of the analysed courts and to examine whether courts are better suited to correct certain kinds of inequalities over others. Jasmin holds an MA in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from the UN-mandated University for Peace and a BA in Law and Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, and is pursuing a BLaw at the Swiss Distance University. She has been a Junior Fellow for the Think Tank Programme on Human Rights, Family & Gender since May 2021, before returning as a Fellow to the War, Conflict, and Global Migration programme.
